< EMILY HIGGINS, MOUNT OLYMPUS Emily Higgins is a returning KEMPA Kamper and will be a senior at Antioch Community High School in Antioch, Illinois. Higgins has been a part of the Tom Tom staff for four years and will serve as the Community Outreach Director for her last year on staff. When it comes to all things Disney, her favorite track is “I Just Can’t Wait to be King” from the Lion King. It’s her all time favorite movie and she claims to know every word to the movie. However, when it comes to who she would play as a Disney character, it would be Mushu from Mulan. “That little red dragon has so muchenergy," Higgins said. "Who wouldn’t want to shoot out flames and protect a princess?” We’re hoping Higgins can replicate Mushu’s energy and help bring her team to a KEMPA Kamp victory!
< PARUL PARI, MOUNT OLYMPUS Parul Pari is a returning KEMPA Kamper and rising senior. She will serve as Editor-in-Chief this year for Lake Zurich High School’s Bear Facts. When it comes to Disney, her favorite song is “Once Upon a Dream” from Sleeping Beauty. Parul's all-time favorite Disney character is Mushu because of his energy which she is using to help bring her KEMPA Kamp to victory!
< CHARLOTTE BONGRATZ, MOUNT OLYMPUS Charlotte “Charlie” Bongratz is a rising junior at Antioch Community High School in Antioch, Illinois. She will be a third year member of the Tom Tom Staff. When it comes to Disney, Bongratz has a hard time picking from her many favorites. Some of her favorite movies include Lion King, Lilo and Stitch and Tarzan. When it comes to which character to be, she would choose Jane from Tarzan. Not only because she wears the color yellow and is Bongratz’s favorite, but also because she values her intelligence and can get excited about almost anything. We know she will bring these traits from Jane to have the best KEMPA experience for herself and everyone around her.
< EMMA KAMMHOL, MOUNT OLYMPUS Emma Kammhol will be a sophomore at Wisconsin Lutheran High School and is an editor for her second year on staff. Emma's all-time favorite Disney classic is the Little Mermaid but is excited to be part of team Mount Olympus. Kammhol's favorite song from The Little Mermaid is “Part of Your World.”

< ELLIE ARMSTRONG, TOY BOX Ellie Armstrong is a first time KEMPA Kamper and a first time member on her newspaper staff at Huntley High School in Huntley, Illinois. Armstrong will be serving as a section editor this upcoming school year and is excited about using her love for writing to format different parts of each edition on her staff. When it comes to Disney, Armstrong’s favorite songs include “Reflection” from Mulan and “Hakuna Matata” from the Lion King. If Armstrong could pick any Disney character to be, she would pick Anastasia because that is her favorite broadway musical. “Anastasia is confident and sarcastic,” Armstrong said. Armstrong cannot wait to attend her first KEMPA Kamp and is looking forward to joining the Toy Box.

Murphy has been a part of the Huntley staff for two years and has exciting things planned for her senior year. Murphy is as determined as her favorite Disney character, Rapunzel.
